??Well if you are ,then it's actually a Hindi song from the Bollywood movie, "Jodi no.1" and a very funny song based on Eggs and I love it...it makes me smile everytime I hear it :D ...and somehow this song completely fits the recipe I am sharing (if you go through the translation of the song you'll realise it) , it's more like a christmas-y DIY than a recipe but it can be called a fun quick snack especially kids will love it for sure...and I call them ,"My eggy snowman".
Basically,I am crazy about Eggs. I can have it anytime in any way . Make it an Omelet,boil it,poach it,scramble it or make a curry ..u name it I love them..Everyone in my family knows I am an egg fanatic ....when I was little ,my mom would make me this boiled egg with salt and pepper on the side as a super filling yet healthy snack and that would surely make my day .
Similarly I also remember in Kerala whenever we would visit a few friends and families over there,they would serve boiled Duck egg with same salt and pepper on side for the guest.
So, since it's Christmas ,how can it be complete without a snowman right ?? So this time I did an aabra-ka-dabra wooooosh on an egg and changed it into a SNOWMAN....which will change you into a cannibal ...as it's an edible snowman :p...
I made this snowman with hard boiled eggs,carrot pieces for it's nose,peppercorn as eyes ,cloves as hands ,rubber bands as mufflers and crushed the egg shells and used it as snow ...You won't believe it I kept those rubber bands aside and ate the egg as it is including carrot pieces,pepper corn and cloves but you don't have to, remove all and have the plain egg with salt and pepper ..which is infact my breakfast at times ...Quite healthy and a super food it is !!

Eggy Snowman
Ingredients
Hard boiled eggs - 4-5 nos.
Carrot pieces - 5 nos.
Pepper corns - 10 no.
Cloves - 10 nos.
Rubber Bands (Optional)
Crushed egg shells
Mint chocolates- 5 nos.
Method:
- Slice open a mouth shape on the Egg which should expose the yolk (Image no.4).
- Put two peppercorns as eyes and two cloves as hands.
- Make small but long triangles of carrots for making nose and insert them below the eyes(image no.5).
- Put rubber band as mufflers on the snowman .
- Put minty chocolates as cap.
- That's it my Eggy snowman is ready for the christmas.
- Crush the egg shells and use it on borders as snowflakes.
I've sanitized the Egg carton and also put parchment papers into each egg holder (Square size small) before placing individual eggs on it. Similarly rubber bands are also cleaned in hot water and then used.
