A dedication for my parents on their wedding anniversary...Hopefully,easy to digest....

 

Happy anniversary to one of the most romantic and sarcastic old couples whose spiritual union gave birth to the one-of-a-kind creature ME...

Well, it's my parent's wedding anniversary coming up next week. Since I've shared in my blog some personal stuff that is neither acceptable/encouraged by my parents (regardless) nor something I am fond of either. They are probably kinda upset about it. There are spies and informers...😐😏🙊So,this is my way of making it up or balancing it out in my blog as well ;D....

Well, my circumstances kinda forced me to mention some private matters for my justification to the truth because there are some sadist people waiting out there who will fabricate and manipulate what's going in my life without knowing or ignoring any truth and may crucify me personally. There are some cheap people who get pleasure doing so. 

You see, there are reasons people change ,act in a certain manner ,sometimes do something unexpected and pain changes people, being silent won't help for long....

That's why they say , "A pen is mightier than a sword/gun ." A non-violent way that can make a small to wide difference if taken correctly.....

So,I had to speak my truth ,stand my ground and stand up for myself. Now I am only responsible for what I say/write not what others understand though that will totally depend upon their perception. However, I will speak up if I've to for the right reason for sure. And what others come out with a conclusion may not be the truth I am telling or seeking but others' pure judgement.

So, it's been weeks didn't call my parents. In general,I've a bad habit of not calling my near and dear ones that often, people do hate me for that :P (Guilty as charged!)..So, just to make sure that when I will make a call to wish them on their wedding anniversary,everything stays kinda cool over there,this is me buttering up here SINCERELY as a precaution in advance :D...

Well,I always appreciate the right things done by everyone regardless. So, thanks to paa and maa for giving us lots of wonderful memories to cherish forever, for teaching us to find happiness even in simple things in life, to save what is supposed to be saved,to be appreciating of life and all blessings in life,to be grateful to and count on God regardless,for encouraging us to get our Masters degree in a choice of our interest/good education, reminding us that family is very important, for teaching us that,"Life is a battle, be a warrior." and always keep your head up, feet on the ground, be there for others and get along with everyone...

On my wedding day - The day I felt like a true Kerala woman (sona kitna sona hai ..:P )..Ha!...a തറവാടി/Khandani Indian woman / felt like a royal princess - loaded with almost 1 kilo 24 carat pure Gold
gifted by my parents along with a car and property - the result of my parents diligent hard work ,teamwork,dream come true............#ParentsPrincessForever

(Though I don't mean to say that without gold means non-tharavaadi something , still...not everyone can afford it...and I,myself am against dowry,but it was my parent's reward for being a good girl, obedient daughter, studied well, found a job, no affairs, no hi-fi demands, marrying as per their choice....I must say now I see it/dowry as a backup for a tsunami day in my life (God forbid !)..Also,I am not comfortable to mention all these (parent's gift) or trying to show off per se but some people were curious it seems..So,for them ,here it is what it is...)

No words can ever express, no gifts will ever suffice the worth of both of your contributions to my life . Whatever I am and I've ,no doubt, it's because of both of you. If it wasn't for your upbringing,I would have easily given up on others and life per se....I understand you will try your best but you may not be always there for me and it's ok because I gotta learn to take care of myself and be responsible for my life on my own...
